Children will have a great time learning karate; they will gain self confidence and problem solving skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Campers begin at white belt and progress through the belt ranks. The camp could start your child on the path to becoming a black belt! Students are respected for individuality and progress at their own rate.
Discipline and self control are gently encouraged.
Students learn appropriate use of karate.
Some of the benefits of karate include focus, balance, strength, discipline, coordination and personal development.
Jeanie Gensheimer is an 8th degree black belt in Shorei Goju Ryu (a traditional Okinawan style). She also has a master’s degree in marital and family therapy from Butler University.
Dojo Kun Karate begins and ends with courtesy.
Actions have consequences.
We lead by example.
We are responsible.
Therefore, there is no excuse for bad manners.
